Diabetes affects approximately 70 million Indians and is primarily classified into Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Early diagnosis, proper treatment, and healthy lifestyle management are essential to prevent serious complications and improve quality of life.
UPDA was established by leading diabetes specialists to improve patient care, promote education, and strengthen professional collaboration across Uttar Pradesh.
Founded in 2002, UPDA began with a Varanasi meeting, followed by its first annual conference attended by hundreds of delegates.
UPDA continues promoting diabetes awareness, medical education, research, healthcare training, and quality diabetes care throughout Uttar Pradesh.
The name of the Society shall be UPDA hereafter mentioned as “UPDA” for brevity. The Registered Office of the Society shall be situated at Endocrinology Department of Command Hospital, Lucknow.
Any person residing in Uttar Pradesh or Uttarakhand is eligible to become Life Member of UPDA, who holds a MBBS degree from any institution or University recognized by the Medical Council of India.

निरंतर बदलाव और काल के साथ सामंजस्य जीवन्तता का परिचायक होता है. आप सभी जानते है की आज का काल डिजिटल काल है| २०१९ के कोरोना महामारी के समय इन्टरनेट और डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म ने प्राणवायु का काम किया इसके हम आप सभी साक्षी हैं. कुछ माह के बाद लोगो को समझ में आया की डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म के माध्यम से अर्थव्यवस्था, प्रशासन, और शिक्षा का संचालन किया जा सकता है और इसका सफलतापूर्वक पूरी क्षमता से उपयोग किया गया . ऐसे में एक बहुआयामी सशक्त वेबसाइट की आवश्यकता की अपरिहार्यता को नकारा नहीं जा सकता. इस आवश्यकता को देखते हुए UPDA की वेबसाइट को अपग्रेड करने की प्रक्रिया गतिशील सचिव डा. सौरभ श्रीवास्तवा की देखरेख में चल रहा है और पूर्ण आशा है की अक्टूबर २०२२ को होने वाले वार्षिक सम्मलेन में यह अपने नए कलेवर में आपके सामने होगा.
